CHAS Accreditation for StepUp Scaffold UK

StepUp Scaffold UK are delighted to have successfully gained CHAS certification in February 2023. The company underwent the accreditation body’s rigorous assessment process, and the certificate issued demonstrates the company’s compliance in all areas of risk management.

CHAS is a highly regarded accreditation body within the UK as it assesses contractors against the British Standards Institute’s PAS 91 standardised supply chain questionnaire.

The accreditation not only demonstrates StepUp’s compliance in all areas of risk management but also makes the contractor pre-qualification process highly efficient as the checks and evidence have already been audited and reliably assessed as compliant.

Every business has to protect it’s employees and the public from risks, and in the construction sector and particularly in scaffold contractors, this is extremely important. StepUp Scaffold UK take every measure to protect customers when using our high-quality products and a CHAS certificate of compliance is a recognised way of proving this to the industry.

Simon Russell, Managing Director of StepUp Scaffold UK, said of the CHAS certification “This is another great achievement for the business. CHAS is a highly regarded accreditation body within the UK and we hope that the certification of our risk assessment processes will provide further assurance to our scaffold contractor, house builder and construction sector customers.”

The CHAS certification is yet another demonstration of how StepUp Scaffold UK adheres to the highest standards of product quality, professionalism in customer service and management procedures. It follows the recent certification as compliant by the National Access & Scaffolding Confederation (NASC) for RingLock and OCTO® products and is the only UK scaffold supplier with membership of the Union of European Scaffolding Companies (UEG).
